This page explains optional analytics, the “Your lessons” feature and your curriculum preference. For general information about how Robotical handles personal data, see our privacy policy.
Only if you choose “Allow analytics”, we send page visits, language, download clicks and Helpful vote changes to PostHog (EU region), along with basic browser information and a random identifier. This helps us improve the resources. A download click does not confirm that a file was downloaded.
We save your choice and, if you agree, an analytics identifier in browser local storage. We do not send names, email addresses, search text, URL parameters or your saved “Your lessons” history. We do not record sessions or automatically capture forms or clicks. PostHog receives your IP address when receiving the connection, but we configure analytics not to store it or use it for geolocation.
Change your choice using “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any public page. “No thanks” stops new events and clears this browser’s analytics identifier; it does not delete events already sent. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
When a page cannot be found, this browser sends only its path and a random identifier for that display to our server to help find broken links. The private report keeps paths and dates for up to 30 days, with daily cleanup. It uses no cookies or visitor identifiers and does not store URL parameters, searches, IP addresses or referrers. This diagnostic operates separately from optional analytics.
This feature is off by default. If you choose “Save my lessons”, this browser saves the IDs of lessons you open, how many days you opened them, and the date of the latest visit. This is used to show your most-used lessons on the home page.
The list stays in this browser using local storage. It is not sent to Robotical or shared between devices, and it does not use the Helpful voting cookie. It counts at most one visit per lesson per day, keeps up to 50 lessons, and ignores visits older than 90 days.
Choose “Clear history” to empty the list while keeping the feature on, or “Turn off” to delete the list and stop saving visits. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes it. Other people using the same browser may be able to see the list.
If you apply a choice with “Remember my choice on this device” checked, we save only your selected country or region and curriculum in this browser’s local storage. This preference is not sent to Robotical or analytics and is not shared between devices. No account is needed.
To remove the saved preference, open “Your curriculum”, uncheck “Remember my choice on this device” and apply your choice. It will keep working while you navigate until you reload or close the site. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes the preference.
